Keep up your Image in the Final Trimester of Pregnancy.
As you march through the final Trimester of your pregnancy, and you are distracted by baby showers, getting a space ready for the baby, new discomforts daily and lack of sleep…it is very easy to let your personal appearance slip.
This is your time, take care of yourself too.
To feel your best you need to look your best.
Maintain your wardrobe; be thoughtful about how you put together your outfits.
Avoid just going for the overly worn leggings and oversized sweater that happens to fit over the belly.
Pay attention to the details.
You don’t have to have a large complex maternity wardrobe, but no matter how simple your maternity wardrobe is, there is always room for a thoughtful accessory to create depth and thought to a look. Great shoes, an addition of a belt placed above or below the belly, a fabulous scarf styled around the neck or a great pair of earrings can still make a simple outfit pop!
Making the effort to pay attention to these details will give your look more style.
Instead of simply dressing in what may seem easiest, be proud of how you look and dress your third Trimester body with that pride in mind.
The other part of your personal Image not to neglect is your Grooming.
As the belly grows and you can see less of yourself it’s easy to literally lose sight of certain areas.
Don’t neglect yourself.
Go to the nail salon and get your toes done regularly…even if you can’t see them anymore, other people can! There is nothing like having a fresh coat of polish on your toe nails.
If you normally shave the legs and especially the bikini area, this may be the time in your life to go get a professional wax. Waxing will last 3 to 4 weeks so you really only need to suffer through it if it’s not your thing, three or four times. You’ll be so happy once it’s done!
Do little things for yourself like having your eyebrows waxed or your eyelashes dyed. Even if you are capable of applying your own mascara, it’s such a treat to not have to worry about maintaining something daily yourself and to know that you look great.
Pregnancy is not always so easy on our skin. Get a gentle facial and help that pregnancy glow shine through with a fresh, healthy face.
You may not want to have any chemical treatments done to your hair while pregnant, but you can certainly have a fabulous blow dry. Does your hair ever look better then when you first step out of the salon with freshly blow dried hair? And who doesn’t feel their best on a great hair day!
Treat yourself; if you look your best, you’ll feel your best too.
Your pregnancy is a time to glow, so take care of yourself and your personal Image to bring out the very best of you in this very special time.
You deserve it.
